10 years, 2 wars, almost 1 million dead and $1,188,263,000,000 later, the US have killed 1 man. Is it really cause for celebration?

Summary (taken from fandango.com): Documentary filmmaker Robert Kenner uses reports by Fast Food Nation author Eric Schlosser and The Omnivore’s Dilemma author Michael Pollan as a springboard to exploring where the food we purchase at the grocery store really comes from, and what it means for the health of future generations.
I just watched this movie and I’m absolutely horrified at what some people are ready to do for money and power. You’d think that an industry that provides food to a whole country would be an exception, well it’s clearly not. Throughout the film you will not only witness the hideous way in which animals are being treated but also what companies are ready to do to keep their monopole and make more money than ever even if it means the death of a 3 years old boy and the poisoning of an entire nation.
However, what is great in this movie is that even if they point out the attrocities of the Food industry’s race to money, they also provide us ways in which we can make a difference. For example, buying Bio products forces major supermarkets such as Wall-Mart to provide these products and consequently to make it possible for people to buy healthy food.
I highly recommend this movie even if it’s not an easy one to watch, especially for those of us who love animals.
